A new treadmill workout

Here's my workout from today, I finally got my butt back on the treadmill and it wasn't too bad. I think having to change up my pace every 30 seconds throughout the run helped. Even though I was clock watching, it wasn't clock watching know that I have to run to x miles or x minutes. I'll definitely be doing this workout again really soon! What also helped my workout step it up was the fact that I found the speaker jack. Listening to Alternative Endurance radio on Pandora was amazing!

Start at whatever speed is more comfortable for you, and get to where you can!

The workout & my workout cheerleader! (I'm assuming all the blabbering was cheering for me!)

Someone had her first yogurt today. She ate it right off the spoon
which I was kind of surprised about. But yay! We're getting places :)

  1. I love that chart! That is such a brilliant idea. I am such a clock watcher when I'm on my treadmill! This is the answer to all my problems. I'm so excited to try that. Thanks so much for sharing. And great choice on treadmills! NordicTrack is my favorite! :) Great post. Thanks again for the great information.

    1. Anytime, I did another one today that I'm going to post in a minute. It's just a different variation, but I find it really does help to count 30 seconds vs 5 minutes or whatever intervals you are doing. Hope you enjoy the workout!

  2. I tried your first variation! Absolutely loved it. I think it really does help me to count to 30 seconds vs 5 minutes as well! It keeps my mind off the actual running! Thank you, again! I'm going to try the one you posted yesterday later today probably! So excited!

    1. So glad to hear that it worked out for you! I'm happy I found out what works for me (otherwise it would be a long winter doing weekday indoor runs) and I'm able to help other people. Are you doing to Princess Half?

  3. Yeah! It was an awesome workout! It made me motivated to exercise the rest of the winter, for sure. No, sadly I'm not doing it. It's been a hectic year, and I just haven't had enough preparation. I wish I was! Maybe next time. Are you doing it?
